Thinking of himself in terms of how other people would perceive him from a totally aesthetic (or olfactory) perspective just seems like a child of Aphrodite thing to do, and it's a good day when he isn't drooling in his sleep, and his hair isn't sticking up every which way.
He probably could spend at least another few minutes glancing at a mirror every now and then though. ]
Yeah, that's a totally normal conversation-starter to have. 'Hey Matt, can you sniff me? I just wanna know if this stuff I'm wearing is strong enough so I don't smell like monster food.'
