[ annabeth has been furiously knitting away at gifts for friends in the last few weeks (dare she say since the end of summer), and percy has probably been privy to some of it. it's a great habit to keep her hands busy. but in the rare moments they did not spend together, annabeth was working on his gifts. ]
[ so, right before they go to the nether, percy will get his handmade presents for the solstice and wintertide season. ]
carefully wrapped and tied with a bow, he gets more than anyone else. one ocean themed hat, with some fishy mittens, completed with a scarf full of turtles. as a bonus, he also gets a little fish friend. what can she say? he's her favorite. she doesn't leave a note, she's not gonna make him read. it just comes with a small card that says:
